Arriving by Plane

Conference visitors may fly directly to Lansing's Capital Region International Airport (LAN). Major airlines serving Lansing include Delta Airlines (via Detroit or Minneapolis) and United Airlines (via Chicago O'Hare).

Participants may also fly to Detroit Metro Airport, which is located approximately 87 miles from East Lansing. As a major international airport, the second-largest hub for Delta Airlines, and a destination for 14 additional passenger airlines, Detroit Metro Airport offers non-stop service to more than 160 destinations around the world.

Michigan Flyer offers luxury motorcoach service between Detroit Metro Airport and East Lansing, and the service includes free wireless Internet. Online reservations can be made in advance.

Participants may also fly to Chicago O'Hare Airport, which is located approximately 240 miles from East Lansing. Located 18 miles northwest of downtown Chicago the airport serves international airlines from Europe, Canada and Australia and connection flights from most US airports.

Amtrak offers daily service to and from East Lansing (approximate travel time = 4 hours).

Arriving by Train

Amtrak offers daily service to and from East Lansing. The train station is located 1.3 miles from the Kellogg Center.
