The Hidden Lake Gardens are owned and operated by
Michigan State University and administered by the Division of Campus Park
and Planning. The Gardens consist of two parts: an outdoor plant
collection, and an indoor arboretum.
The Hidden Lake Gardens also contain more than 6
miles of scenic drive roads and more then 5 miles of walking and hiking
trails, over 755 acres of land.
Within the indoor section, visitors will find various
species of plants, including bamboo and cactus, along with a special Plant
Conservatory area.
